You Got Me is a new tragicomedy by Oliver Martin about two strangers, Alex and River, who find themselves trapped in a room together. They remember how they got in, but have no idea where they are and no idea how to get out. As they try to figure out their escape, they begin to notice strange happenings. Memories fading, words disappearing, language failing, visits from an eerie, silent figure. As the characters’ identities and memories of the outside world decay, and they begin to fall into helpless cycles of repetition, You Got Me explores what connects us to other people, what a person becomes without their memories, and where the line between comedy and tragedy falls.
