Show Title: Twelfth Night (In 24 Hours)

Description: As you might have guessed, this is a production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night rehearsed from scratch in 24 hours. We want to lean in to the chaos of Shakespeare’s comedy, amplified by the unprepared cast and the awareness of the audience that the play has been thrown together haphazardly in a single day. Our goal is to establish a strong understanding of relationships between characters and the world they are in but not set anything in stone, and then throw our cast on stage and make them perform. It will be exciting and funny and not very serious!

We are looking for:
Welfare head and assistants
Assistant directors
Marketing manager and assistants
Costume designer and assistants

We will have one cast and crew for the first half of the show and one for the second half so that people can sleep whilst we’re rehearsing the other half!

We will be holding interviews over the vac on teams.

Note for costume: costumes will be sourced before the 24 hours so full availability on 8/9 May isn’t necessary.
Note for ADs: We want at least 2 directors per cast so that we can split rehearsals. ADs will be running rehearsals alone so must be comfortable directing actors independently. We are looking for people who can create scenes in line with the overall trajectory and artistic vision of the play but which are still unique and spontaneous.
