We are looking for more people to join our production from behind the scenes!
MARKETING MANAGER This role will involve working to create a vivid and unique marketing strategy that aims to reach a wide audience. This may include producing posters, regular social media engagement, assisting to create trailers, and in-person events.
MARKETING ASSISTANTS This role will be supporting the Marketing Manager, particularly with social media and ground work for posters.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Assists the director, including rehearsals and supporting communication between cast and crew to ensure a smooth and collaborative process.
LIGHTING OPERATOR As with 'Hamlet' (HT25), there will be a heightened role for the lighting operator to convey a very stark, affecting atmosphere, and providing symbolic aspects. This will include delivering the Lighting Designer's plan and working with the soundtrack.
COSTUME ASSISTANTS This role will involve working with our Costume Designer to create and source the many costumes in this production, that range from clerical outfits, grunge, BDSM, and absurdist aesthetics. This could include stitching, helping to source from thrifting, or providing an expanded insight as to the costumes that are used.
ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS This role will involve working with our Production Manager to help run the show from backstage. This may include attending rehearsals and assisting the Directors in taking notes as to the props used, placement of stage objects, and exits/entrances. It may also include being present during show week to assist get-in and get-out, and to move set and clear up from stage effects used during the production.
WELFARE OFFICER This role will involve working to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free enviroment for both our cast, crew, and creative team. This may involve helping to purchase refreshments during long rehearsals (which is covered by the production budget), liaising with the creative team and the Intimacy Coordinator to assist any difficult rehearsal periods, and to attend show week to help everybody feel OK.
