For Freshers: What is the Oxford Playhouse? Once a term the Oxford Playhouse has one week-long slot for Oxford University student productions. The Playhouse is a 630-seat professional theatre that offers students a scale, facilities, and technical support that is unparalleled by other universities. We encourage everyone to audition; previous Playhouse shows have been led by people who have never acted before.
