We’re excited to be holding an introductory event with the team at The Oxford Playhouse aimed at freshers interested in student theatre.

The Oxford Playhouse is at the centre of professional theatre in Oxford, hosting acclaimed touring productions alongside student and community work. Learn more about student theatre and how you can put on your own productions at The Playhouse and BT Studio.

It will include a workshop led by the Playhouse’s Artistic Director (and former Oxford students!) Mike Tweddle, alongside a tour of two of the main venues that student productions use. If you want an exciting introduction to student drama, this is not one to miss! After a workshop with Mike, we’ll take a look at the main 600-seat auditorium of The Oxford Playhouse and head round the corner to The Burton Taylor Studio, a black-box studio that holds multiple students productions every term.
