Hi all! At Highlight productions, we have a very exciting opportunity coming up on Sunday 19th October from 2-4pm in Exeter College’s Cohen Quad.

We will be workshopping our new play “Lavender Ashes”, to see the new writing in practice and observe how the scenes translate from page to reality.

It will be a great opportunity to practice your acting skills, and meet new people. There’ll be food (yes we’re taking snack requests!!), and it will be lots of fun!!“Lavender Ashes” is a contemporary drama about love, faith, and identity. It follows Rose, a high-achieving university student torn between her relationship and the expectations of her religious family. When a secret is exposed, she's forced to choose between the woman she loves and the life she’s built to survive. Spanning from a chaotic birthday party to a quiet reunion five years later, the play explores the cost of silence, the weight of family, and the courage it takes to live your truth.
