Performances: 21st - 24th May, Exeter College Fellows Garden
Company: Exeter College Drama Society
It's two years after the Second World War, and the Kellers have the American Dream. A comfortable house, a happy family, friendly neighbours- all enclosed in a white picket fence. But the return of figures from the family's past, and the destruction of their late son Larry's memorial tree, threatens the apparent perfection of the Keller's life.
Emotive, intense, and intimate, All My Sons interrogates not only the instability of warfare and capitalist systems, but also the integrity of individuals and their moral codes. The Exeter College Drama Society's inargural production promises to bring to life Arthur Miller's classic tragedy in the beautiful surroundings of the Fellow's garden, with its views overlooking the Radcliffe Camera and Old Bodleian libraries.
