Further Details
● We don’t expect you to have a full cast and crew at the time of application. Applications can be made with only the core creative team (director, producer, musical director) on board.
● You can use the OUDS Budget template or any similar format. You may include the cost of transport and accommodation to Edinburgh for your cast and crew in your budget.
● The award will only be payable into a production company or society bank account - not your own individual personal account. If you do not already have such an account, please contact the University Drama Officer who can advise you on how to open one.
● At least 90% of the entire cast and crew of the project should be current students of The University of Oxford. This should include the lead director and producer. For the purposes of this definition, a ‘current’ student is defined as any student enrolled at The University of Oxford in Michaelmas Term 2026.
●The funding will be given to the production as an upfront grant. However, if at the end of the production process the production has made a profit, the producing company should return to The CMDF a percentage of the profit equivalent to the percentage of the expenditure funded by this award.
