Seabass Theatre's visionary production of Doctor Faustus is reopening applications for the crew team for the following roles:
MARKETING MANAGER This role will involve working to create a vivid and unique marketing strategy that aims to reach a wide audience. This may include producing posters, regular social media engagement, assisting to create trailers, and in-person events.
COSTUME ASSISTANTS This role will involve working with our Costume Designer to create and source the many costumes in this production, that range from clerical outfits, grunge, BDSM, and absurdist aesthetics. This could include stitching, helping to source from thrifting, or providing an expanded insight as to the costumes that are used.
ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS This role will involve working with our Production Manager to help run the show from backstage. This may include attending rehearsals and assisting the Directors in taking notes as to the props used, placement of stage objects, and exits/entrances. It may also include being present during show week to assist get-in and get-out, and to move set and clear up from stage effects used during the production.
WELFARE ASSISTANTS This role will involve working with our Welfare Officers to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free enviroment for both our cast, crew, and creative team. This may involve helping to purchase refreshments during long rehearsals (which is covered by the production budget), liasing with the creative team and the Intimacy Coordinator to assist any difficult rehearsal periods, and to attend show week to help everybody feel okay.
