In Chicago, 1941, Brecht wrote a truly awe inspiring satirical masterpiece about the political climate of Germany, and the rise of Fascism within Europe during the 1930s. The play follows Arturo Ui, a Chicago gangster down on his luck who tries to wrangle with the titans of the Cauliflower Trade. In true Brechtian style, the play makes the audience laugh at the ridiculous nature of this man, but also acts as a rallying cry against such despotic and heinous men.

Full Moon Theatre seeks to bring this play to life, envisioning the energy of a 1930s Cabaret with bold lights, harsh silhouettes and a theatre production of the ‘Epic’ scale!
